The main feature of my stand will be The JB Routing Bench: This integrates my novel (1989) pendulum router jig and has been specially designed to fit into the boot of my Mini Cooper Coupe car that will freight all my gear to the Harrogate show!

Here is my flexible timetable for the three-day event, breaking down into repeat hourly sessions made up of approximately10 minute slots. The video display includes the timetable  â€‹â€‹

     Hourly timetable - 10 minute modules

  • For Beginners: I will demonstrate basic hand-tool techniques and aspects from my Design and Make in wood course and my Acoustic Guitar 'Easy Build' course. .

  • Advanced Woodworking: I will demonstrate making an exhibition-quality piece of furniture using a combination of hand tools and a small router.

  • Routing Pioneer Techniques: Demonstrating the JKB Omni jig for creating frame joints and the "Fast Plunge" routing method—a unique technique for mastering speed and cutting efficiency.

  • Guitar performance I will be playing the guitar that beginners can build for five minutes in every hour (through a low-volume amplifier).​

  • Mini lecture topics include Designing what you make, challenging some myths, My most useful power tools  

  • Daily timber challenge At the end of each day, I challenge visitors to identify the most wood samples from a selection of 30 different timbers. The winner chooses a signed copy of one of my books.

A disrupter, an innovator and even called a 'router maverick' (even though he wrote "The Incredible Router" book in 1989 Jeremy Broun is back on the scene and offers something different at this year's Harrogate show.

​Jeremy Broun's work is rooted in education, having trained at the legendary Shoreditch College (Distinction, Advanced Wood), he has vast teaching experience and half a century of practice as a maker . He is the UK's creative routing pioneer. and is making a debut appearance at Harrogate after a 30-year break from the major show circuit (e.g. Alexandra Palace). He has taught at all levels, including leading colleges such as Rycotewood and The Letterfrack Furniture School, and was an associate contributing editor of Good Woodworking magazine. For a few years he was a freelance inspector for The British Accreditation Council. He has a YouTube channel (83,000 subscribers) and is the organizer and one of the judges of The Alan Peters Furniture Award.
