Guitar making For centuries the craft of the luthier has been shrouded in mystery and complicated build techniques that put off all but the highly skilled. In the past few decades Jeremy Broun has made the most popular travelling instrument (bar the harmonica) accessible for even wood- working beginners to build. As far back as the 1960’s Jeremy was teaching secondary school pupils how to build an acoustic guitar using thin aircraft plywood. He ran one of only two adult evening classes in London on guitar making in the late 1970’s
