The old pinewood planks were cut into mini planks and glued and nailed onto a plywood base to create ‘the desk that Sir Ralph Richard- son walked on’. . A plant pot stand based on a wine cooler designed and made for a member of the royalty. The piece is coopered like a beer barrel and made of brown oak. It stands alongside pieces of furniture dating back to the 13th Century in a Great Hall.
